Student\'s WorkStudent's Work [9, Nov 02]: We have added photos to the Student Gallery of some lovely work from two of our advanced students; Barbara and Nancy. I am very pleased with Nancy Wright's painting of two magpie. Nancy has been painting with us for about 2 years and this is her first attempt away from Folk Art.

Barbara has painted a wonderful seascape on watercolor paper

Amanda has also been making great progress with the Catalogue section adding Bins, Boxes(3 pages), Children's Furniture, CD Holders and Clocks.

Vitrail ButterfliesVitrail Butterflies [28, Oct 02]: I have added a new pattern in the freebie section for painting Double Winged Butterflies using Vitrail Glass Paints. These look lovely on the window but they also make nice magnets and cork board pins.

If you have a look in the Glass painting gallery you can also see them on my Kitchen Window
Matisse ButterfliesMatisse Butterflies [27, Oct 02]: Last weekend we had a wonderful two days at the Matisse Open day. Very nice to meet with other Decorative Artists, teachers and enthusiasists. My students and I have been having fun creating butterflies using Matisse and Vitrail paints so I took those along to demonstrate. You can join in the fun now as well as I have placed a freebie set of instructions up in the pattern section so you can read and see how its done.

There is more to come as well. I have also painted some lovely butterflies with the transparent Vitrail glass paint but I have run out of time for today, so I will put photos and instructions up tomorrow.
